How To Save Money in Toronto: Coffee Edition

Need caffeine?

Don’t give Starbucks $2-3 for a paltry, dishwater-esque short black made by a bitter barista.

Instead, go to a Nespresso Boutique. Ask for a sample. It is that simple.

You will not get a better coffee, and you can try multiple flavours and limited editions.

The flagship Nespresso Boutique Bar at 159 Cumberland Street, Toronto is visually amazing and modern, making you feel like you are in some sort of Jetsons coffee paradise. We are equally excited for the Yorkdale store to open.

If you can’t make it to those gems, there are always the Nespresso Boutique Kiosks in Hudsons Bay and at Eaton Centre. These are not our favourite Nespresso suppliers to visit, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Now we’re not staying go in everyday expecting them to make you ten free coffees. But every once in a while, you are entitled to try the product. Who knows, you may even end up going home with a Pixie machine.

At 75c ($CAD) per Nespresso pod (excluding some limited editions) it is worth investing in. It will be a lot cheaper in the long run if you are a daily coffee drinker to use pods than it is going to these big chain coffee crooks.
