Read any beauty related blog, magazine or interview and the number one thing that is stressed is the importance of taking off makeup before you go to sleep. Admitting that you sometimes don’t is basically the cardinal sin of the beauty world.
Whilst we acknowledge the importance of washing, toning and moisturizing (at least) before bed, sometimes a gal gets a little lazy. Rousing yourself up to do a full face washing number when you are on then verge of sleep ain’t as easy as it sounds.
Plus washing up no longer makes you feel tired, counteracting the whole getting to sleep business that you are trying to do in the first place. Somehow, wearing hours old makeup is a tranquilizer. No matter how many ruined pillows you have to show for it.
However, we have found the middleman between sleeping in your makeup and the effort involved in washing up.
It is Kirkland Daily Facial Towelettes!
We have tried numerous brands, types and price ranges of makeup removing towelettes. Nothing can trump these.
Firstly, they are large. 18.7 cm x 19.6 cm to be exact. You can cover more ground and get more mileage than your average drug store fare, which barely cover your hand.
Secondly, they are non irritating. Gentle enough to use over stubborn eye makeup and by miracle, it actually takes it all off! Boasting cucumber, chamomile flower extract and aloe, your face can’t help but feel soothed and refreshed.
Paraben free and hypoallergenic, this product is an all around winner.
Now of course we come to the price. The only reason we continue to buy this product, and have for many years, is because it is relatively inexpensive and effective. Purchased from Costco for approximately $15 you get three packets of thirty wipes, and two packets of fifteen wipes.
That is 120 wipes for approximately 12c a wipe.
Can’t argue with that.
